About me
We are made
of all that broke us
and all that loved us,
and in embracing both,
we become whole.
About me
I was named after Peña Naira, a cultural gathering place in La Paz, Bolivia — a space where music, art, and community converged. I like to think that had something to do with my enduring love of music, dance, and connection.
I was born in Santiago, Chile, and raised between languages and landscapes — the vibrant pulse of Miami Beach in the eighties, and later Montreal, which I have called home since 1988. Moving between places taught me how to read context, how to listen closely, how to belong without dissolving myself. It also taught me about change — the exhilaration of it, the loss within it, and the resilience it demands.
I first trained as a graphic designer. Design, at its core, is about communication — about bridging the space between a message and the person meant to receive it. It requires clarity, structure, and an ability to see what is not yet fully articulated. That way of seeing shapes everything I do.
Coaching expanded that lens. I completed my certification through Concordia University’s ICF-accredited programs and later returned as a mentor coach, supporting the development of new practitioners. Rigor matters to me. Ethics matter. So does presence.
For over a decade, I have worked with individuals navigating transition, identity shifts, emotional tension, and quiet turning points. Many arrive capable and thoughtful, yet carrying more than they show. My work is to create a space steady enough for the truth to surface, and warm enough for it to be met with care.
I speak Spanish, English and French.
